The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is on the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model is not the only effective means of learning. CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Department for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, regarding their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are presented at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes get started at NCV level 2 as well as least requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass check here in Arithmetic.

After the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, being comparable to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level two.
